This is about my participation in, what was at the time, the biggest and most rapidly put together Medical relief operation of the International Red Cross.

A young, naive and not well travelled Taranaki doctor heads off to an international relief operation in an active war zone. A formative experience!

Bio

I graduated Med School in Dunedin and Auckland and was an old style GP in New Plymouth for about 20 years. Then I had 20  years as a corporate Medical Director, here in New Zealand and in Asia, for a global Pharmaceutical and Vaccines Company
